What is BATTERY_SWI_CONN does?

Hi there, newbe here, please help me, thanks

what will happen if my battery does not supply power to Battery_swi_conn?

will my iphone battery percentage jumping around?

and also what is HDQ_GAUGE does?

if there is fault on this line, do i have to replace Tigris or can i jumper a cable ?

i asked those question because, my iphone power line/power supply test cable has snapped on Battery_swi_conn line, so every iphone that i tested with it, always came up with a restart problem.

thank you for your help.

There is a battery information chip on the battery protection board, suppling information like battery S/N, health, temperature, usage history and so on. iOS will trip out after some time not receiving anything from it as a safety measure.

Hi Tom Chai, thank you for answering my question. Sorry I didn’t know what this’s means “iOS will trip out after some time not receiving anything from it as a safety measure.”?

is it mean that the iPhone will turn off or restart?

sorry for me not being able to understand about this.

Thank you Tom Chai

Given that I can't see ANY connection from BATTERY_SWI_CONN to the iphone 6 motherboard I can't see how this sort of information would be conveyed to the phone
