iPhone getting No Service or Searching ... sometimes

My iPhone 6 has been running into some issues recently. My iPhone sometimes has no service/searching cellular issues. One way I can fix is this to “Reset All Settings”. But eventually, I will lose service again. I’m in a location that I know has service. I’ve tried restoring, DFU, Reset All Content and Settings, Take sim out, IEMI is active still.

I’m 99% sure this is a hardware issue, please help.

I agree, 99% sure it’s a hardware issue too, iPhone 6 are known to develop this problem especially if they’ve been dropped or got bent. When you get the no service/searching try dialling *#06#, that should give in return the IMEI number..if you get nothing it’s 100% sure it’s a baseband issue that needs a microsoldering repair.

@jammysam Sometimes unfortunately the issue is not easily recognizable. If you get the IMEI correctly it means the modem should be working correctly for most part but something else connected is not working properly, a faulty or shorted component, etc..

I fear such repairs a bit as the radio part of an iPhone includes a pretty big number of interconnected components and finding the culprit is not very easy, I got a few boards that went into the pile for parts after having been investigated and tested for hours to no avail. Personally I don't have any simple answer that might help.

This is a hardware issues.Check first while on no service that on the setting - general Modem firmware present or not.Check the IMEI of the phone by dial *#06#.Sometime this actually happen while both IMEI and Modem firmware present on the phones. That i solved by this way,You can check out but needs hardware skills.I got most iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus series has common issues that No service.I solved that way hope this tutorial will help you in your problem by this way.

Hi J Sam

Your problem sounds like an antenna fault which can be cheaply replaced by Apple or a Phone repair shop and after the repair the phone will work

Thank you for co-operation
