What could be the problem on a 98 honda accord ex if your brake lamp light stays on when driving?

When i press my brakes my brake lights wont turn on but when i turn on my headlights the backlights turn on, what can be the problem?

Check that the brake pedal brake light switch and bumpers are OK.

This video is for a ‘95 model but it should be similar.
