Nintendo 64 No AV Output, please help

I have 2 N64s, I have plugged them in and tried multiple cartridges, it will power on with the red light and you can here the speakers kick on when i switch it on, but other then that I am getting no sound or video off of ether of them. I have tried 2 wires and even tried the wires on my Gamecube. The Gamecube works fine with no issue, but the N64s have no signal. I have blown everything out with canned air. Any ideas? I am using a flat screen TV and have tried changing the video settings too.

The fact that BOTH of them have the exact same issue says it’s a TV/cable issue. Which cables are you using, and into which inputs are you plugging them into? My N64 works fine on my modern hdtv with composite video (red/white/yellow connectors) and I get no “video settings” in Composite/AV source mode on my TV.. It just is what it is.. But, luckily my modern TV actually HAS composite input. I’ve heard about Composite to HDMI upscalers which allow you to plug into HDMI and give you a guaranteed working resolution, but with a bit of lag.. And good ones are not cheap. Make sure your screen supports low resolutions (240p - 480i).

Cable issue, Smart TV's have a weird issue when connecting lower resolution video cables to them.
