How to replace lcd screen

I actually have the asus q524u which I believe is the Best Buy exclusive model? This is the only asus laptop I’ve found with the same hinge/case setup and is probably very similar.

I have some cracks on my lcd screen behind the digitizer. The digitizer glass is perfect and touch works perfect.

I have ordered a new screen that should be here in two days but I can’t seem to find any tutorials on how to disassemble the bezel and screen, I’d hate to have to guess and break clips off or worse.

If anybody has any experience please advise! Thanks!

It Is not the same exact model in which I understand but it completely the same concept and should help you fine if not give you a great idea on what to do.

Thanks, I’ve watched that and many other similar as well. My concern is most of videos I watch there are hidden screws somewhere holding the bezel in place. I don’t see any so I may just pry mine
