This is a similar retractable key fob to yours. If you open the fob and look at the side does yours have a roll pin in a machined hole on the side like mine? If so yours has probably come loose and been lost or something. May need to go to the dealer to get a suitable replacement. They might even install it for you. Probably can press it into place with some needle nose pliers I expect.

I didn't even notice that there is a roll pin supposed to be in that place, mine is missing, i will go to a dealer and see if he can install another one or find someway to fix it, thank you.
sorry.... nothing to do with what's already mentioned. I have a problem. I purchased a 2 button honda fit key fob from Amazon to replace my old broken one. The fob shell came with a uncut key that I cannot remove. Is there anyone with a clue on how to prise the key out so I can replace it with the original one. Is there some secret button to release it or what ? pls help
