My iPhone is lighting orange but only when I put I in the charger

My iPhone was lost for two weeks and I got it back again. I put the charger in and this bright orange light lights up the flashlight. The iPhone won’t turn on, not even show a logo on the screen or anything, I hope u guys can help me.

I lost it in a amusement park and someone returned it so I don’t know were it’s been.

There's a high probability that the phone was outdoors and may have come in contact with water. This phone needs to be opened up to see if the water indicator stickers have turned red or not. While open, it should also be looked at closely to see if there is any physical damage internally.

If the phone did get wet, then a proper decontamination is in order. You can check out this answer (My ipad air 2 shut down randomly and reboot.) for details on how to do that - just disregard the link to the iPad Air guide).

Based on your comments, only the "warm" LED is working (the flash has a dual led setup). This could be modular in nature (a bad flash) or it could be logic board related (flash driver circuit). Without knowing what the phone went through over the last two weeks, it's hard to say.
