What is the difference between models?

I'm in the market for self-propel walk-behind lawn mowers, and see that Honda models HRX217VKA and HRX217K5VKA are both rated highly. Some vendors appear to sell one model but not the other, and the list price for the latter is ~$80 more . What's the difference between the two models?

Well that proved not a lot of information available, so I went directly to the Honda site.

It may be year models but this is where I would select which one to buy. Amazon had both mowers listed at the same price.

Anyway, here are the current offerings in the HRX series:

Thank you for your help. It almost seems like the model numbers are used interchangeably, but I will contact Honda and ask directly. Different sites list only one of the two model numbers, and the prices can vary by as much as $80. As you suggest, maybe the prices/model #s differ by year of manufacture.
