disc will not eject

I have inserted a game disc into my Nintendo Wii and during play there was a power issue. This was subsequently resolved but the disc remains in the Wii console and will not eject despite pressing the eject button. Noise sounds but no disc comes out. What can I do?

You will need to take the DVD drive from the Wii and push the disk through the the front opening. Here is a guide to get you most of the way there. You will need a Tri wing screw driver to disassemble it, we sell them here.
