How do you fix a keyboard on a lenovo thinkpad X131e Chromebook?

ok so the keyboard is popping out of the chromebook, the H key is coming out alot, the diamond key is out and I don't know where it is btw still useable just irritating, the space bar will not work unless i press it in the middle, the keyboard button is jammed in and will not come out and doesn't have the little orange thing that other keys have, and keys are really loud

Hi @ibreakalliown ,

Usually it is easier to replace a keyboard than to try and fix it, as you can cause more problems than what you had when attempting to repair it.

Here is a link to the service manual for your laptop.

Scroll to p.66 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove / replace the keyboard.

Keyboard replacements are available online. Just search for Lenovo Thinkpad X131e keyboard part to find suppliers of the keyboard that suits you best.

Because iFixit has no guide, I would recomend looking up a tutorial on YouTube, and ordering keyboard off amazon.
