What screwdrivers do I need?

So, I've got some pretty basic screwdrivers from Amazon at the moment.

They're certainly not precision as they keep slipping and I'm worried that I'm going to damage something.

Just wondering what screwdrivers I'd need from iFixit?

I see there's various different Philips on here and I'm not sure which is the one I'd need.

Not fussed about the Y #000 at the moment as won't be needing it for now.

Thanks!

Could you be a bit more specific? I don't know exactly what you're repairing, but you did put iPhones as the category, so I'll stick with that. For most iPhones, you'll need a pentalobe screwdriver and a #000 Phillips driver. You can order these individually from iFixit, or get an essential/pro tech toolkit which will also include any and all other tools that you'll need to perform most repairs.

Yeah, I've already got quite a few different bits. Just wanted to upgrade screwdrivers.

Would a magnetizer be a smart move too?

door

Magnetizer is helpful.

Note that the iFixit screw toolkit screw driver is magnetised so it will be hotswappable screw bits with magnetization.

You could just get one of the screwdriver kits, like the 64-bit driver kit, found here: Mako Driver Kit - 64 Precision Bits . If you want to go whole-hog, I'd recommend getting the Universal Bit Kit, found here:

@oldturkey03 I've already got all the bits I need.

Got my iSlack, spudgers, suction cups, tweezers, iSeasmo etc...

Just need some higher quality screwdrivers and I knew iFixit was the place.

If you really do want the best screw drivers look at Wiha.

I use 1plx40 for pentalobe and ph000x40 for Phillips head.
