Won’t stay on!
Hello my laptop got water spilled on it. It will turn on, but turns off quickly. What could yeh problem be? Does it need to dry out more or is it a lost cause? Help!

@toribs you need to disassemble it and clean it properly. The more you are going to try to use the greater the chance of damaging it. You do want to stop trying to turn it on etc. Disconnect the power and remove the battery. Download the maintenance manual from here and clean every part with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. You can remove the motherboard and remove the heatsink fan assembly and just soak the board in alcohol and clean it with a soft brush. You will need to replace the thermal paste etc. after you got it cleaned. Only after it has been fully cleaned and thermal paste replaced etc. should you try to power it back on.
