Why does it shut down when touching the touch pad?
My laptop works fine until i put my hands on the touchpad then, its shuts off and reboot itself.

Can you attach a USB mouse and disable the touchpad and see if it works as it should without the touchpad
1. Click Start , Control Panel . Select Classic View from the left side of the Control Panel window.
2. Double-click Mouse in Control Panel, and then select Disable .
3. Click Apply , OK .
Also try to remove your battery which is housed underneath it I believe and see if you have the same problems w/out the battery, just run it on AC.
