Touchscreen disease - accessing data from laptop?

My apple 6s plus mobile has developed 'touchscreen disease' & is completely unresponsive. How can I access data using a lap top? I tried to login to Apple account & they sent text message with authorisation code-which of course I could not access.

Please help as mobile contains valuable data.

Thanks.

Kris

The Fix for your issue is a screen replacement. You would not need Microslodering due to the IC chip being on your flex cable on that model and not on the Logic Board.

Are you positive you have an issue with your touch ic chip? Because it says your have a 6s+. And touch disease is extremely rare on the 6s series. In terms of accessing data the only way of doing it would require hooking it up a computer you have already trusted or authorized on both phone and computer in iTunes.

Hi. It is definitely touch disease, white bar & all & according to google & Apple, is very common in 6s plus. It appears it stems from a flaw in device due to its over flexible nature. Basically bending where the touchscreen chip is.

Can I hardwire to laptop & bypass text prompts? I had iTunes..if that helps.

Thanks.

As Eric says, Touch Disease is pretty much inexistent on the iPhone 6S series, by nature of it's design. The iPhone 6+ has the Touch IC's on the logic board and they are subject to flexing. However, on the iPhone 6S, the Touch IC is on the screen assembly. So in essence, if you suspect you have a Touch IC related problem, then you simply replace the screen as there is no Touch circuitry on the logic board.

Yes, positive. It's a well known issue in this phone according to Apple & internet in general.

Is it possible to hardwire device to laptop, & put in password from laptop rather than mobile? I have an iTunes account.

Thanks.

Not possible. Entering through the phone screen is the only way.
