Should I buy this?

Hey all, first i'd like to apologize this for being a stupid question but i've been looking for answers for so long with not much for answers, so i thought i'd stop here. I've been staring at this 2003 Kia Rio 5 speed for basically 5 years straight sitting in this guy's yard but couldn't get a hold of the owner. i even remember the day he parked it and watched him shut the door. but that isnt the point. recently i found the car for sale on facebook and went to go take a look at it. theres a few issues with the car, most imporantly its been FLOODED! (the area floods every so often). According to the guy, it ran when he parked it got all new brakes and calipers, but needs a new driver side door, windshield, it has 218k miles. but the whole interior needs replacing due to it being wet, and moldy, tbh, i would just stip the whole interior and just drive it with just 2 new front seats. but what do you think it's worth saving? i LOVE the way the car looks. if its worth saving, what should i pay for it? like i said, i'd be willing to put some effort into fixing it, but not put more than the car's worth.. ill post some pics below, i'd appreciate youre help. Thanks!

@blayne1602 steer clear of flood damage cars . Your starting with a disadvantaged car in the Kia name alone . Even if the car is given to you the cost in time and replacement parts will kill you . the new brakes are five years old and the rotors will be so rusted they'll need to be replaced . If you really like the car that much look for one on Craigs list . This kind of car can and likely will be a money pit. you can maybe make some money scrapping the car. If this is a car your willing to dump a boat load of money into and you have unlimited resources go for it . I personally wouldn't touch it . Hope this helps

Is this a serious question?

KBB's value for a working Rio 5-speed is $500-$700 trade in/$1600 private party sale GOOD condition @ 70k miles.

Your cost is going to way exceed this.

The car is flooded so likely there are some hidden issues such as electrical damage, and rust. Not to mention this is a Kia, a car company with a reputation so bad, people forget why the new ones are forced to come with a 10 year warranty.

Here is a list of 106 customer complaints. Note the NHTSA ones.
