Tablet starts with message "YouTube has stopped"

When I turn on my Tablet a message appears "UNFORTUNATELY YOUR YOUTUIBE HAS STOPPED" with OK in the corner. I press Ok and the same message reappears. I cannot do anything else as it keeps reappearing every time I press OK. I tried a reset but still no change. How can I get my tablet to start again? I have never used YouTube and how it got there I will never know.

I'm having the same problem an I have already disabled YouTube what can I do

Berry did you try my suggestion? Once you get in to Google play and get to YouTube, install or enable it. Once you have done one of those the error should automatically go away.

First, boot the tablet into safe mode. Push the power button for a few seconds until the power off and reset screen appears. Then press the "power off" button for 5 seconds it will then prompt you to restart in safe mode. I still had the same pop up in safe mode, however.

Then go to the google play store app and go to the youtube application using the search bar. Once you have it on your screen click on "enable". It should solve your issue.

Once this is done, you should be able to uninstall it.

Be mindful that you will have to be quick about tapping the "ok" button on the popup screen for the error while doing all of this. Have a little patients you are about to fix your issue.

Hope this helps.

I don’t even have YouTube on my tablet and was getting the message. Here’s what I did to resolve this. (As was mentioned before, you’ll have to tap OK on the message and quickly perform each of these steps. Tricky, but doable.)

Select Settings.

In settings, select Apps.

In the upper right corner of the Apps screen, there are 3 vertical dots. Tap on these and two options appear: Sort by size and Reset app preferences. Tap on Reset app preferences.

After doing this, the message no longer appeared.

If you don't use the YouTube app at all, simply go to settings, select apps, then select YouTube from the list. Click the "disable" button. If you ever want to use YouTube again, you'll have to use the web version. If you want to use the YouTube app, please tell us the model of your tablet for a more accurate answer.

Thanks George but I can't get to settings as when I press OK it immediately brings the message up again

@hoss163, power down your phone and hold the power button to power it back on. And when you see a logo appear during boot-up, hold down both the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons. Continue holding the two buttons until the device boots up with a Safe mode indicator at the bottom-left corner of its screen.

Then do what I said.

door

Reset, Wifi off, Safe modus, nothing work. No time to get in Apps removal. this thing keeps poppin up. Now and then I succeed in removing" harmfull app HTML vieuwer"but when I touch the the Ok button of you tube has stopped, it's back again on the warning list. The only thing possible is taking a hammer and smash the dammed thing!

You can try to disable Youtube app and switch off your phone and then turn it on and enable the application and update the application. It will surely resolve your problem and if still you face the problem then visit Youtube not working and I hope you will find your answer there.

Depending on what device you have since many people have this issue, google how to factory reset your device. WARNING this will reset your device as if it was new and will wipe all data!! This will reset youtube and hopefully fix your issue.

I have preformed a factory reset many times already. It works for a few days or weeks and then the message starts up again. Really frustrating! Neither YouTube/google, android or my tablet manufacturer will take responsibility for the issue.

door

Well if your tablet is still under warranty the manufacturer should take responsibility as when I had similar problems the company took it upon themselves to send me a new device. So check if you are still under warranty and see if you can talk to and RMA personal from the company.
