Jim -
On your Menu is a selection for Format. Find it and select it. That will give you an option to format your memory card. Do that; re-formatting a memory card usually solves access problems.

When I open the format function, it is blank, there is no format function available. I get the reading, no card.
Jim - Have you tried a different memory card? -- Russ
Try removing the battery and let the camera stay without a battery for a few minutes. Then replace the battery and try again.
