mobile phone doesn´t charge / telefono no carga

Dear all,

I bought my BLU VIVO 5R 2 months ago in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay and my phone is currently not charging at all. It seems like it´s a software problem because sometimes when it´s ON and I plug the power wire it suddenly reboot the mobile phone. And it only charge if it´s OFF, but when you´re using it, the battery drops very fast.

BLU Service wants me to send the device to Asunción, PY, or to Montevideo, Uruguay. It´s just crazy as f...!

Anyone can help me?

Compré mi equipo BLU VIVO 5R en Ciudad del Este, Paraguay 2 meses atrás. Hace poco tiempo el teléfono dejó de cargar correctamente. Carga únicamente si está apagado (pero sin mostrar nada en la pantalla ni prender ninguna luz) y si está prendido directamente no carga y se reinicia cuando enchufo el cable. Si está funcionando, la batería se descarga demasiado rápido.

El Servicio Técnico de BLU me pide que mande el teléfono a Asunción o a Montevideo, que son los centros de Servicio Técnico más cercanos. Eso es una locura!

Alguien que por favor me ayude o aocnseje?

@lucasghione , Lucas, Use the link below to hard/factory reset to see if it solves your issue. The battery, cable/charger or charge port may be faulty damaged. Look in the charge port and blow/pick out(carefully) any dust/debri that may be causing an issue also look in the port for any bent pins and straighten very carefully with a tooth pick. Try a different compatible charger/cord to see if that is the issue. If different compatible charger/cord does not fix and port looks/test good, the battery or connection could be bad, if able to clean battery connections and reconnect/install battery, still not charging battery probably faulty. If under warranty you may want to use it for repair/replacement/refund. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

I´ve already tried what you said. It´s still the same issue. I can´t open the mobile phone by myself, it´s completely sealed. Maybe the only thing I can do is send it to the service...but It´ll cost me almost a new phone.

Lucas Ghione, Your right the phone is assy. quite tight, just in case you want to give it a go, I posted what I found for replacing the battery on BLU VIVO 5, hope it may help, if not wanting to attempt maybe pop into a local cell phone/computer shop and have them take a look and estimate repair.
