Horizontal lines on screen
Please see attached pictures. What parts would I need to repair this? thanks

Hi,
Iff a hard reset is nog solving the problem, try another LCD to make sure it is the LCD. Thats my guess btw
You could have some luck, since the flex cable could simply needs cleaning (isopropanol 99%).
Iff there is no differance with another screen, than you'll have a problem with the backlight of the device. Some iPad 3 and iPad 4 are know for problems with the backlight on one side of the screen. Just search on google for "ipad backlight half" and you'll find enough information.
That fix needs soldering and replacing parts on the motherboard, so find yourself a good repair guy who can help you with this

Try Reboot the device if is the same its LCD problem it have to be Changed

Did this just randomly start happening? I have had similar issues happen with iPads and what I did was to literally knock on the back of the iPad around the Apple logo like knocking on a door. Sometimes I could have to knock on it hard. I know this sounds crazy, but I have fixed A LOT of iPads with hazy screens, back light issues etc this way and I've never heard back from those customers about the same issue.

if the reset doesnt work. it looks like a ribbon cable problem. either it is loose or damaged. before spending any money try reseating the cable and see if that makes a difference. i hope that this helps

my ipad has a straight white line down the middle of the screen and the rest of the screen is al black unless if i press really hard down on the screen then i can see my home screen and i am still able to use it but even when i press really hard there is still that long white line down the middle

and i have to keep the hard press down on the screen to be able to use it, where as if i take my finger off and stop pressing hard on the screen then it goes back to the same old black screen with a white line down the middle
