@shunda , Dorothy, If device is newer use warranty for replacement/repair/refund. May be time for a new battery before doing so, try another compatible charger and view and try all the recommendations from troubleshooting links below. Last link tells that LG may be aware of problem, hardware fault, will repair affected devices if your falls in this category. Good luck.
