Shut off when in drive
When I start the truck it starts up fine but when I put it in drive it idles ruff then shuts off.. I have to keep gas on it

Jorge, Have truck scanned for trouble codes, some auto parts places offer code reading for free and may be a big help in diagnosing issue. It does sound like it could be a large vacuum leak. Check all vacuum hoses for cracks/loose/off. Use a can of starter fluid to spray around vacuum lines, intake manifold base gasket, throttle body, brake booster, etc. While spraying these areas listen for a change in engines rpm, it will change if there is a leak. I had this problem with my 2001 f150 lariat. the problem with was the mass air flow sensor (MAF) it would idle rough and cut off every now and then. I got some MAF sensor cleaner, removed it from the housing and changed the air filter for good measure. Sprayed down the sensor let it dry then re-installed the sensor. it hasn't done that since.
