My CD is not playing

when i put the CD in my Boombox, close it and press play, it does not spin.

I have a similar problem with my radio which is a different model but looks similar from the picture. My radio will play CDs but starts skipping within the first track and sometimes just stops playing altogether.

Laser Lense Replacement Guide

I think your motor might not be working anymore that's what makes the CD spin. You should check out the link above for steps on how to get to the motor inside the boombox. If that doesn't work maybe its the laser that reads the CD. You can buy a replacement laser lense online and follow the steps in the link above to replace the old laser.
