Hi,

In its simplest terms the head unit has an output amplifier which is capable of supplying 50 Watts of power to each of 4 speakers.

Your speakers are capable of handling 420W and 360W.

Therefore while it will work the sound produced may not be of the best possible quality as the speakers may not be operating in their optimum performance range due to the low power (in relation to what they can handle) of the audio being supplied to them.

If you turn the head unit up to maximum output to see if the speakers sound alright (if they don't at mid output for example) it may also give a poor quality sound as the amplifier is being operated at its maximum and sometimes, depending on design and quality of the unit there can be distortion occurring at maximum output.
