Will not power up
Having the samr problem with my Mac Book, late 2008. Doesn't start. The battery was swollen and did not charge. I tried the suggestions above, removed the battery cable and disconnected the keyboard ribbon cable. Any other suggestions?!

I changed this to your own question as it's not a "me too" type of question or answer. Please tell us what it will do, sounds lights. Give us a history of the machine. Did you replace the battery? Help us to help you.
