Touch ID not working after screen replacement

Hello, i change the screen of my iPhone 6 yesterday, i have been extremely careful with different parts but the problem is that when i turned it on everything was working even Home Button except the Touch ID Fuction, i tried to reset the Touch ID in the settings to put a new fingerprint and it doesn't work, i think it's not recognized. How can i fix that ? Thank you

Does the conductive small plate affect Touch ID ? If did not took it from the old screen, does this makes a difference ?

Can the new screen have incompatibility with the Touch ID ?

If i Replace the flex cable under the metal lcd plate but i keep the same home button, will it fix Touch ID ? Or i need to keep the flex cable and the same home button ?

Yes, i did Power + Home button till it power off and logo Apple appears too

Did you move the home button from your original screen to the new screen? If you used a new home button, it will only function as a home button. That's a security feature. The home button is paired with the system board. To restore touch id, you'd need to use the original home button.

Yes i took everything from the original screen to the new one : Flex Cable, Home Button, Front Camera...

Home button works, just not Touch ID ... I don't know why i've been extremely careful

My hunch is that the flex cable got damaged. So, it passes the signals as a 'home' key. But, perhaps the connections for the fingerprint sensor were compromised. It's easy to do as the cable is glued down pretty firmly. If it were me, I'd order a replacement ribbon cable -- I think you can find them pretty cheaply. Good luck

Folks, there's new information coming to light regarding the iphone 6 phones. They suffer from 'touch disease'. That's a cute name, but it means that they no longer recognize touches. It shows up originally as gray lines on your screen. It's a result of two ICs (chips) that have lost full connectivity to the phone's system board. That's because the phone flexes - a result of making them thinner and less sturdy. Make sure you don't put them in the back pocket of your pants. Sitting down causes them to bend and eventually they suffer 'touch disease'. I don't think that's the case for this original question - but it's affecting lots of iphone 6 phones.
