ASUS TF300T replaced cracked digitizer but still not unresponsive

I replaced the cracked touchscreen/digitizer on my daughters ASUS tf300t. Tablet powers up and display looks good but is totally unresponsive to the touch?

Have you insured that you inserted the digitizer cables into their respective spots on the motherboard correctly and all the way?

It must be defective replacement. I had a Asus t100 screen I replaced, but replacements for those tablets are unreliable. When I finished the repair, the touch didn't work, but we luckily had the keyboard for it so we could keep using it. We're still using without the touch. You should either get another replacement screen or purchase a keyboard that makes it like a laptop.
