Why is my battery not charging?
My VTech Kidizoom Action Cam does not charge when I plug it into my battery charger. What do I do so it will charge properly?

Please make sure that the master power switch on the bottom of the device is placed into the 'off' position for the device to charge. If the device still is not charging the USB cable or battery may be faulty. The Troubleshooting page may be able to help you further.

But it is said in the manual, the master need to be at the "on" position for charging.
I am having same issue. I have 2, one wi charge the other will not. The one which does charge is in the on position.
i have the yellow/black camera and the usb port is screwed up and i want to know if it's fixable or replaceable.
Thanks for the help, I thought I was supposed to have it in the on position. :)

It will only charge off their usb cable, on any other micro usb lead the part that plugs into the camera is just to short. So it fits in but won't start charging.

When I plug it Ito just says pc connected it doesn't charge

It’s not rechargeable. Remove the screw from the side of the camera and remove the orange silicone. Replace the 2x AA Batteries. Manual is incorrect

I had the charging problem with 2 watches, I decided to change the plug the USB was in from a fast charge to a normal charge and it worked, both charge fine hope this helps someone

The master power switch has to be on for it to charge and mine, I plugged it into the wall with the cable and the adapter, which is from another thing, and I haven’t seem to be the camera has not been working I plugged it in. It still works but doesn’t charge.

Also having the same trouble, plug it in to charge and it says 'turn on the battery switch before charging'. It says this whether i have switched underneath to either I or O. Any ideas please? Has anyone solved this problem?

if master Switch is in the on position and still not charging… make sure you are not using a fast charger plug and use the cable that came with the camera if possible or try another charging cord
That should solve charging issue.

So guys i had this problem too. Ok so looks like some have a usb port only to tranfer the photos off not to charge. These ones have small screws and you need to just change the batteries. BUT if you have the newer version like me then plug the usb charger in and turn the camera upside down. You will find the smallest on off switch in the world on the right side. Switch across and it will start charging. They make these toys far to complicated!

before l slept, l charged my kidibuzz and it was working and when l woke up, it was not and it had 0%. I tried to charge it for a hole day, but it did not work. When l follow lots of the steps in google, it just does not work

When i was charging my Kidizoom watch before I slept I charged it then the next day it was dead I tried charging it it doesn't work but finally it works now

yeah it does the same when i go and see if it was at green IT WAS AT RED AND 0%
i tried eveything that didnt work and five mins later it WAS STILL AT RED THEN IT TURNED TO GREEN THEN I ASKED MY DAD WHAT HAPPED HE TOLD ME I BROKE IT JUST HELP ME PLS I WANT it TO CHAGE AGAIN PLS HELP

I am trying to charge mine in the computer and there's no switch on my Camara it says on the screen Learning lodge kidizoom for one hour
