Where do parts go?

Hi, I just found your site while looking for help with my creative Zen. I bought it a carboot and l am trying my luck refurbishing it by replacing the battery. All was going well but two rubber parts have fallen out and I haven't a clue as to where they belonged. I was wondering if you could help by sending me a picture of where they are supposed to go. (how do I attach a pic?).

Hi,

Since I can't see what they look like here are two choices for you regarding rubber components in the Zen Vision M.

Here is a video showing the touchpad dis-assembly / re- assembly of a Zen Vision M. At about 1:00 minute into the video it shows the removal of 2 rubber pads.

Alternatively at about 2:55 minutes into this video it shows what looks like two rubber spacers which seem to be there to hold the battery in the battery compartment.

Thanks for your help so far but its neither. If I could attach a pic I could show you. But I can't. One looks like a white cone and other a tiny black rectangle. V. Baffling.

I have noticed on another vid that one part was for the headphone jack. I'm still working on where the other part goes.
