Why did you replace the screen in the first place , was it broke or was there another reason if it was broke did the screen work could you see anything or was it blacked out and would not come on . If this was the case then you needed to repair more than the digitizer you would ave needed to replaced the screen digitizer and LCD. When replacing a screen there are 3 options. first replacing just the glass you do this if the LCD works you can see the picture on the screen and the touch functions on all areas of the screen . Second option is to replace the screen and digitizer you do this if you still have a full screen view all corners and no pixelation but it doesn't respond to touch. Third and final is if you have no picture or a digitally broke picture this is when you replace it all screen digitizer and LCD. This sounds like your situation. If you did have full screen view you may simply have not connected the cable correctly when reinstalling or you may have damaged the connectors when reassembling

As long as you put the LCD in then you must have a connection issue you will need to take it apart and check each connection look closely at all for dirt, bent or missing pins. there is one final possibility. you got a bad replacement , it happens. when I'm replacing screens i always try to check them before reassembly .

There could be a number of issues that would stop the screen from displaying, the most common is the lcd or the flex cable to the lcd is broken. It could also be a board issue but that is pretty rare. First I would try another screen, you can do this with out removing the old screen, and double checking the connections. if this doesn't help then I would assume that there is board damage, check for missing components, bent/missing connectors, shorts etc...
