2 Is the lcd assembly the same as the iPod touch 5th generation?
I was just wondering if the ipod 6th generation lcd assembly is the same as the 5th generation assembly.

Ipod touch 6 screen doesn't have the same front camera emplacement...so we can't say that's identical but screen work.. that's just not the same bezel.
After my test i can say ipod touch 5 is not compatible with "original" ipod touch 6 screen (not same camera bezel as the 5th)
But ipod touch 5 screen is compatible with ipod touch 6 !

Hello! I was reading about the iPod 5th gen LCD didn't have
exact same camera bezel as the 6th gen.1or something like that? But then the LCD is compatible though?
So what s that then? Like if I use LCD from 5th generation model to replace 6th generation LCD, would it mean that the camera won't function afterwards or something like that?? OR......??
The camera will work. All 5th screen will work correctly camera included but you just can't fit 6th camera on 5th screen because thats not the same hole.
The best way is to keep 6th bezel and glue it on 5th screen ...then rebuild it

just put an ipod 5th gen lcd on a 6th gen - works great.
