tresastephens, I am sure that you already tried to remove the battery for a short time and then reinsert it. Also, try a soft reset by pressing and holding the power button for +10sec. After that you can try a hard reset. This will delete all your files. Press and hold volume Down button and power on the phone.This should get you in recovery mode. Here you can select to do a factory reset by using the Volume Down key on the menu.

Press and hold volume up and down and power button at the same time will take you to safe mode power off wait two minutes power on.
