Digitizer Front Glass replacement
my glass broke on my white ipad mini and i want to replace it with a black one and was wondering if the black digitizer front glass is the same.

I thought so but when I look at the pictures on Ifixit the digitizer looks different on the white one from the black one. I'm looking at IPad mini (1st and 2nd gen ) front panel digitizer assembly. Thanks for the reply.

The screens are the same however the frames are not. The black frames are a bit darker in color. It won't affect how it works but it will look weird.
Also the dock connector and headphone port are color matched to the screen. You will end up with a really odd looking iPad Mini that works fine but looks like junk.
