iPod no backlight working
will replacing the lcd solve the backlight problem? as i kow with the ipod touch it is attcahed to the logic board? thanks

replacing the lcd could solve the problem - those lcd's have ccfl backlights - and the "bulbs" are always buld in the lcd
did you try to reset the ipod ?
press and hold the home and the select button until the ipod restarts - this could take 6-10 seconds.
is there any history of droppings ir fluid damages ?
