2 Why is my screen red?
When I'm watching something on tv my screen is red in places that should be black or just in places that should have a dark color and I don't know how to fix this please help!

As I stated in another comment, THIS was the only thing that fixed my TV, THANKS alot man, may God pay you back!
But what was he doing with the tweezers to the wire in it? I didn't understand that part

I received a new tv I had purchased through Walmart and red was where the black should be... read all the blogs about power sources and light modules...so called Vizio and the rep told me to unplug it for a bit, then hold on the power button for five seconds and then plug it back it - and worked like a charm for me.
Not all fixes will be this easy - but it worked for me and thanks Vizio Tech Support :)

We have an LG TV and unplugging and holding the power button down 5 seconds and plugging back in worked! Thanks so much!!!
Show to tv engineer..He will replace the color IC chip ..It cost you around 3000

Go for the first reply's option if your dealing w a tv that wont turn on or you have a pink screen but for this posts problem try this vid though i have to thank the first replyer cause it was his link that lead me to find this vid which fixed my tv
T conn board 20 bucks on eBay
David Ramirez's Comment helped me, I opened the TV, move the cable a bit and it worked like a charm. 8 years old Vizio TV still giving it all like the first day! LOVE this 22 inches Smart TV!
Replace T-conn board 20 dollar fix. You can get the part on ebay.
