Overall Screw Size and Location Diagram

Is there, or can you make, a screw diagram that indicates the size screw for each location? in the main body of the phone, or both halves?

You can buy a ScrewMat to help keep track---don't mess them up. Like in the 5s, if you put a long screw into the short screw bracket on the iPhone 6 you can damage the board---it will present as no backlight.

The best way to keep track of the size of each screw is first seeing and knowing each hole is for what screw. So for best results before you begin to disassemble your phone I would highly advise to either have a diagram map that you can buy or make one yourself by using the guides on here under TEARDOWN.

That guide gives you the specific size of the screw and the location of the screw in the order of disassembly. To make sure that your diagram is in order correctly, mark on a sheet of paper the section of phone, the part and mark the sizes keep them separated to avoid accidentally mixing them up and being at risk of the long screw damage.

But don't stress out though doing this project. If you're cool, stay organized and keep a slow but steady pace you can knock out in no time. It's not a race but it is your iPhone so handle with care and DISCONNECT THE BATTERY WHEN TEARING DOWN PHONE to avoid electric shock.

What the h*ll! This isn't answered. You basically just gave basic information that is nearly obvious.

I agree. I have searched all over the internet for a diagram that shows where each screw and the size of the screw goes in the iphone 6s and i keep getting redirected to a magnetic mat that does me absolutely no good at this point after the fact. I would not be asking if i had not accidently mixed some of the screws up. Its good information if i were ever going to attempt to do this again, but it obviously does not help me now. If theres anyone that can relate and knows of some sort of diagram that shows where the screws go and which screw size goes where i would very much appreciate it. I have found them for every other model accept for the iphone 6 and the 6S.

So did you ever get screws in your phone correctly? Did you do it yourself or pay someone? Just curious
