Kindle got juice spilt on it

Hi my kindle literally got the tiniest bit of apple juice on it and i wiped it and it had been working fine after it. A few weeks later it is unresponsive... when i plug it in the Kindle logo appears but then vanishes and doesnt come back until i pull out the cable and put it back in.. and then the same over again.

It is possible that it is your charging port, but it is also possible that you have some corrosion. all it takes is a bit of corrosion on the right spot to cause failure. Check the charging port, a new cable try a different charger. If none of that works, you will have to disassemble your kindle and evaluate for any damage.

If it has been a few weeks, it is unlikely an effect of the juice spill. Juice will dry, but not at such slow rate,so any effect would be immediate or latest after a day.

Your problem sounds more like a damage, such as an intermittent connection or solder point.

Try to just push and pull the plug, without pulling out the plug, to see whether my theory is right.
