Opening my iPhone failed...

Hi !

I I was just trying to open my iPhone 5 with a suction cup and a plastic opening tool, just like in battery replacement guides, just like I successfully did with other old devices... My problem is that not the entire front display famed when I pulled the cup... The display came alone, leaving the rest (I mean the part where the home button on the iPhone... And I now absolutely do not know how to continue opening it...

You want something worse ? When I pub the display back in, the iPhone does not boot at all...

I'm waiting for your advice to know how to open it now and try to figure out what's going wrong.

Thanks !

I succeded opening the iPhone, but as I told before, the iPhone is no longer starting... I thing that the whole front panel assembly and probably other components have been damaged.

Mabe will I try to fix it in a more or less near future but for now I can only tell my iPhone to rest in peace

Thanks anyway I accept your answer because even if my phone is dead, this is probably a good way to open the i5.

Hi there have you tryed plugging into iTunes and see if it's recognised?

If so and it's recognised then a screen change could be all you need
