a dotted line is there on the screen, how to remove it?
a dotted line runs through in the middle of the screen..i don't know if it is a hardware problem or a software one..

sri hari, attach an external monitor and see if you have the same line. If you do, then it is most likely a software issue. Try all modes of your OS i.e. safe mode etc. If you do not have that line, then you most likely need a new LCD, especially if it is only a single line. this is most often caused by a bad LCD TAB.
