won't hold a charge
My battery is literally draining in hours where it used to hold a charge for a couple days.

Debbie, not sure how old your battery is. It is entirely possible that it is at the end of its lifespan. I would start off by replacing it with a new one. If nothing else it will give you a know good starting point. There is even a guide for it. Hope this helps, good luck.
