The view finder is blank. It is dark and blind.
My screen is dark , blank. Everything seems to work except there is no image on the screen or view finder.

Denise, this can be caused by a few things. Most likely candidate would be that the lens is simply not opening. If the lens is okay, then you will need to take a look at the CCD assembly as well as the CCD PCB. It may just be time for a disassembly and to take a closer look at it. Make sure that the ribbon cables and connectors are seated properly and check for anything obvious.
