DS charging port damage, can this be repaired?
My son pulled the insides out of the charging port . Is this a repair that I can do myself or should this be done in a repair shop?

Garry Dunnan, most certainly can you fix it yourself. Follow this guide step 13 shows you the port. It is soldered on the logic board. Unsolder it from the board and replace it with one of these. Straight forward repair. Hope this helps, good luck.

may just be cheaper and faster to buy a decent used one.
