you did not tell us which light is flashing. If it is the On/Off light then according to the manual it is a very generic error code.

1) Turn on the printer; take out the old used cartridges

2) Turn off the printer for a few minutes and disconnect the power cord
+
3) Connect the power cord and turn the printer on, when it says "insert inks", and then insert the compatible cartridges one by one, making sure the cartridges are sitting completely in the slots.
