Tablet Will Not Power On
The iDeaUSA CT8 will not respond or show any sign of turning on.
CT8 is Not Charged
Like any other tablet, the CT8 can only function if it has any charge left in the tank. A Micro-USB charger should work just fine with the iDeaUSA CT8. You can expect the CT8 to be fully charged and ready for heavy-use within 10 hours.
Faulty Charger
Sometimes the device itself might not be experiencing problems, but rather the accessories. If the CT8 still fails to power on after the expected charging time, check to see if the charging brick and/or cord work with other devices. If the other device also fails to charge, a faulty charger might be the problem and it is recommended to get a new one.
Faulty Battery
Plug a Micro-USB charger that you know works into the CT8. If the CT8 still does not charge, then it is possible that your device has a faulty battery and it must be replaced. You can find a battery replacement guide here.
Faulty Motherboard
If all other steps fail to bring the CT8 back to normal, then it is very likely that the problem ultimately lies in the motherboard. In order to get your tablet back to working conditions, it is recommended that the motherboard be replaced which can be done by following this guide.

Faulty Charging Port
Check to see if the CT8's charging port is clean of any dust, dirt, or if any pins are damaged. If the port is dirty, you can gently clean it with a small utensil such as a toothpick. If any pins are damaged, you can replace the charging port following this guide.
Screen Does Not Respond
The iDeaUSA CT8 does not respond to touch; screen display remains the same.
Low Battery Life
The lack of touch response is a sign of a low battery. Plug in your charger to your tablet.
Emergency Boot is Necessary
As time progresses, devices get slower and slower. Because of this, the iDeaUSA CT8 might freeze during use. To return the tablet back to normal, press and hold the power button and volume-up button for approximately 30 seconds. Your tablet should be back to normal once you see the loading screen appear again.
Faulty Screen
If the CT8's screen doesn't work after it has been physically damaged, then that is a sign that the display is broken and should be replaced. An additional symptom of a faulty screen is if you can hear sounds or vibrations that would be generated by the iDeaUSA CT8 by pressing the volume buttons, but with no visual response. Both problems can be fixed by following this replacement guide.
Tablet Will Not Connect to Wi-Fi
The Status Bar lacks the Wi-Fi symbol and applications that require an internet connection are unusable.
Wi-Fi is Not Enabled
Check to see if the Wi-Fi is enabled on your device and enjoy what the Internet has to offer!
Wi-Fi is Not Connected
If you are planning to use your device with a new internet connection, make sure to check if you need certain credentials - usually a password - to access a connection.
Faulty Router
If you are still experiencing problems with connecting to the Wi-Fi, there might be an issue with your router. To fix this, turn off your router and wait 30 seconds before turning it on again. Attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi again. If you are still experiencing difficulties, then there might be something going on with your internet provider.
