Phone will not turn on
Your phone will not power on.
Battery is low or dead
Before taking apart your phone, make sure you try charging the battery. You should also double-check that the unit is plugged into a functioning outlet.
Base cords may be faulty or disconnected
Double-check that all wires for each base are connected and secure. If not, the handsets will not charge or receive calls.
Battery is disconnected
Using the Battery Cover Guide, remove the Battery Cover to ensure the red and black wire port is plugged into the unit.
Battery Pack Replacement
If the problems persist, use the Battery Pack Replacement Guide to switch out the Battery Pack with a new one.
Phone Handset will Not Ring
My phone isn't ringing when someone calls me.
Device may be switched off
The device may be switched off on the main base. Try pressing <On/Off> to see if that corrects the problem.
Silent Mode has been turned on
It's possible that Silent Mode has been turned on using the <Silent> button. Try pressing <Silent> and changing it to off to unmute the ringer.
Base cords may be faulty or disconnected
Double-check that all wires for each base is connected and secure. If not, the handsets will not charge or receive calls.
Issues with buttons on the keypad
The buttons on the keypad are stuck, sticky, or filled with debris and/or the keypad is not working properly.
Keypad is sticky or some unknown substance is trapped under keypad
Before taking apart your device, try to wipe the keypad button area with a damp cloth to help clear the substance. If the problem persists, the button keypad will need to be cleaned using the Button Keypad Cleaning Guide.
A button may be wedged underneath cover
Simply remove the cover using the steps outlined in the Button Keypad Cleaning Guide to remove the cover and un-wedge the button.
Screen Display is malfunctioning
I can’t see anything on the display screen.
Check to ensure the battery is charged
Place phone on the charger, and ensure that the light on base is lit.
Base cords may be faulty or disconnected
Double-check that all wires for each base is connected and secure. If not, the handsets will not charge or receive calls.
Object stuck under screen
Simply remove the cover using the steps outlined in the Button Keypad Cleaning Guide to remove the cover and clean the screen underneath the display.
