Camera Fails To Stay On The Suction Cup Mount
The dash cam is moving and/or falling off the mount while driving - most often when traveling over bumps - or the entire unit falls off the windshield.
Improper Suction to Windshield
If the dash cam remains intact to the mount, but not to the windshield, the mount may not be properly adhered to the glass. When positioning the suction cup onto the windshield, make sure to properly clean the surface area with warm water and apply a decent amount of pressure to the suction cup, before locking into place.
Improper Removal of Camera
When removing the dash cam, do not pull on the camera forcefully as it will weaken the suction between the mount and windshield. Tilt the camera to the left or right to gently remove the dash cam from the mount. Additionally, when attaching the camera back onto the mount, hold the mount in place with one hand and push the dash cam into the socket upward with minimal force, but not too much that you move the mount with your hand.
Defective Car Mount
If the Toguard windshield mount keeps falling down, the mount may need to be replaced. A few alternative options are listed below:

Camera Fails to Charge
Camera won’t charge causing it to power off and lose connection - due to shaky vehicle- damaged port- or a dirty port
Improper Connection to Vehicle 12V Output
A common problem with charging dash cam devices like the Toguard C200, is that the charging connection to the toguard C200 from the vehicle charging output is improper. This can be caused by not being plugged in all the way, the wrong fit of charger for the vehicle, or a faulty vehicle port. This can be fixed by assesing what is wrong and fixing the problem, like cleaning the vehicle port, and making sure it is the right fit. This guide can help identify the problem.
Damaged Charger Port
If you take a look at the charging port of the Toguard C200, if the port looks to be fitted loosely to the camera, it may be a sign of damage to the port, which can cause a disconnect from the charger to battery supply. If you also see that the port is visually damaged and is charging slowly or not charging at all, it is damaged internally as well. This guide can help you assess the damged port.
Improper Cleaning of Charger Port
When a charging port of a device is clogged or dirty , filled with debris, it’s difficult for the charger of the device to lock into the charging port, which will keep the dashcam from charging its battery. If you click here, you can use this guide to help clean the Toguard Port.
Camera is Frozen or Unresponsive Screen
When the Camera screen is frozen on a black or white screen when turned on.
Outdated Dash Cam Software
The Dash Cam software needs to be updated to fix the freeze problem that DashCams can experience when the software is outdated. If you click here, this website provides the option to make recent updates to the Dash Cam.
Unstable Power Supply
If the Dash Cam power supply is unstable, it causes it to freeze, and a black-and-white screen will appear. If the USB charging port isn't helping, try switching to a three-slot 12v socket splitter and directly connect it to the vehicle's cigarette lighter. Also, sometimes, you can have a faulty 12v socket splitter, and you will need to replace it with a new one. A few options are listed below:
Faulty Memory Card
If the SD Card is not compatible, it causes the Dash Cam to freeze and have a black-and-white screen when turned on. Before you buy a new SD Card, take out the SD Card and turn it on to see if it works perfectly fine without it. If the Dash Cam works perfectly fine without it, then the SD Card has to be replaced. A few options are listed below:
128GB Toguard Micro SD Memory Card
32GB Toguard Micro SD Memory Card
Camera Audio is Distorted
Audio output from camera comes out distorted through the speaker.
Obstructed Microphone

Faulty or Damaged Microphone
If the microphone of the camera is damaged, or faulty, it could result in the audio being distorted. The dash cam itself would need to be replaced.
Camera Receiving Too Much Audio Input
The camera may be receiving too much audio input, or the surroundings are just too loud for the camera, causing the audio to output distorted. Try to move the camera to a spot where the audio input may be minimized.
Camera Keeps Restarting
Damaged SD Card
If the device is continuously restarting, it could be an issue with the SD card. Try deleting the memory by reformatting the SD card or completely replace the SD card. You can reformat a SD card by inserting it into the SD card slot of a computer and click on 'Erase' or 'Format' to delete the files.
Faulty Battery
If the camera battery is damaged, it causes the Dash Cam to keep resetting. Before replacing the battery of the Dash Cam, try charging it for a minimum of 3 hours, and if it keeps resetting still. Then the battery has to be replaced. A mini SD card of at least a U3 or higher speed card is needed. A few options are listed below:
