If you're having trouble connecting audio to your JBL On Tour speakers, follow this page for possible solutions.
Loose Connections
Make sure all cables are fully plugged into the correct ports on both your audio device and the speaker. If using a 3.5mm aux cable, remove it and reinsert it firmly. Try a different cable if the connection still feels loose to rule out a faulty cable.
Low/No Power
Check that the speaker is turned on. Ensure that the batteries are installed correctly, using the proper orientation. If the batteries are old or weak, replace them with fresh ones. You can also try power-cycling the speaker by turning it off, waiting a few seconds, and then turning it back on. A speaker without sufficient power may not properly receive audio signals.
Incorrect Source Selected
Verify that your audio device is outputting sound to the correct source. Ensure the headphone or line-out is selected and the volume is turned up. Test the speaker with a different device if the original source may be causing the issue.
Faulty/Damaged Cables
Inspect all audio cables for visible damage, fraying, or bent connectors. Replace any cables that appear damaged or test the speaker with a different cable. Faulty cables can prevent the speaker from receiving sound even if the device and speaker are functioning correctly.
Damaged Audio Port
Check the audio port on the speaker and the source device for dust, dirt, or debris. Clean the port carefully if necessary.
