The Mixer is Making a High-Pitched Noise
When the device is plugged in and powered on there is an audible high-pitched noise that can be heard.
The Mixer May Have a Faulty Motor
If the device is making a high-pitched noise, first check to see if the mixer is in operation. If the mixer is not moving, then the sound is due to a broken electrical component, which can be found with some searching and the aid of a multimeter. If the mixer is running, then the sound is most likely due to the motor. A bearing may require attention or a component inside of the mixer’s casing could be rubbing the motor. The Mixer is Making a Grinding Noise
When the device in plugged in and powered on there is an audible grinding noise that can be heard.
The Batter May Be Too Thick For The Mixer
The batter you are mixing may be too thick for the mixer to handle. Bread dough should only be kneaded using the dough hooks, as they are designed to work with high torque. If you believe that you are using the mixer with a reasonable load it is possible that the motor is overheating, so high speeds and thick batters should not be mixed.
The Mixer May Have a Faulty Motor

The Quick Burst Button is Not Doing Anything When Pressed
Depressing the quick burst button has no effect on the mixer
Check To Make Sure Your Device is Plugged In
If you try to turn the device on and it is not then you may have forgotten to plug it in. The quick burst button will not work if there is no electricity going to the device via the power cord. So make sure the power cord is plugged in and then try to turn it on via the quick burst button.
The Mixer May Have a Faulty Power Cord
You can hear the quick burst button clicking but the device will not turn on. This could be because of a faulty power cord or a bad connection somewhere in the device. To fix this issue, you will need to purchase a new power cord and install in on the device. Here is a link to replace the old power cord with a new one.
Quick Burst Button Falls into Machine
The quick burst button on the mixer's handle has fallen into the handle and can no longer be used.
The Button's Spring May Have Broke or A Piece of The Plastic Broke
This is a very common problem that may be experienced based on normal use of the mixer. The piece of plastic that was holding the button in place may have snapped, causing the button to fall into the handle of the mixer. It is also possible that the spring on the button has broken and will not allow the button to move. To fix this issue you will need to purchase a new quick burst button assembly and install the new button in your device. Speed Lever Doesn’t Change The Speed of The Beaters
Your machine will not change speeds even though the speed lever works.
Check to Make Sure That The Device is Plugged In
Make sure that you have remembered to plug the device into the wall to ensure it is getting power. Once the device is plugged in, turn it on using the speed lever or the quick burst button located on the handle of the device.
The Mixer May Have a Faulty Motor
If you slide the speed lever and it does not change speeds then there may be a faulty connection in the device. It could be that the motor is not functioning properly. Speed Lever is Stuck in Place
The speed level on the mixer is stuck on one speed setting.
The Speed Lever May Need To Be Cleaned
If you spilled an excess of liquid onto it, it is possible that the slider has been stuck in place by the liquid. Cleaning the slider from the inside of the handle may fix this problem and allow the slider to move again.
The Mixer May Have a Faulty Speed Lever
A piece for the slider could be missing or a part of it is caught on something inside the mixer’s handle. To fix this issue you will need to replace the mixer's speed lever. You can follow our guide to fix the speed lever here.
The Beaters Are Stuck in The Mixer
You are having trouble taking the beaters our of the mixer for normal cleaning or use.
Press The Release Button
To release the beaters from the mixer you must press the release button located on the handle of the device.
The Beater Slots May Need To Be Cleaned
If you spilled an excess of liquid onto it, it is possible that the beaters are stuck in place by the sticky liquid. Cleaning the beater slot may fix this problem and allow the beaters to easily be removed.

The Mixing Bowl Will Not Lift Off of The Stand
The bowl will not seem to lift off the mixing base.
Try Turning The Bowl
You must first twist the bowl before being able to pick it up off of the stand.
The Mixer's Handle Will Not Lock on The Stand
The handle of the mixer will not lock onto the stand so it just keeps lifting off
