Debris In Buttons
Sometimes debris builds up around the buttons and causes them to stick.
- Take a toothpick or other non metal tool, and gently scrape around the button removing anything logged between the button and the controller
- Then take a Q-tip with a little isopropyl rubbing alcohol, enough that it is damp but does not drip, and apply isopropyl to the outside of the button
- Repeat as needed
- If problems persist you may need to take apart the controller and clean the internal button membrane. To access the membrane fallow the button replacement guid under "Damaged Buttons"
- Once you have the membrane gently clean it with soap and water, or alcohol
- Let it dry, and then put the pieces back together
Damaged Buttons
- If all else fails you may need to replace the buttons. A replacement guide can be found here.
