The camera will not turn on
When you switch the camera's power button to ON, the camera doesn't turn on.
The battery is drained of power
If your camera won't turn on, its battery may need to be charged. Charge the battery using the power adapter provided in the camera's box and insert it back into the camera in the battery slot. Remove the battery using the Battery Replacement guide.
The battery is faulty/malfunctioning
If you have fully charged the battery and the camera will not turn on, the battery may be faulty. Consider replacing the battery using the Battery Replacement guide.
The motherboard is faulty/malfunctioning
If you have made sure that the battery is functioning normally and the camera still will not turn on, the camera's motherboard may be faulty. Consider replacing the motherboard using the Motherboard Replacement guide.
The pictures come out blurry
After you have taken a picture, the image you see is blurry instead of clear.
The lens is smudged
Check the camera’s lens for any smudges that could impact the quality of the pictures taken.
If the camera’s lens does appear dirty, carefully wipe the lens with a soft microfiber cloth until all or most of the smudges are gone.
The camera was moved while taking a picture
If your lens is clean and your pictures still come out as blurry, you may be moving the camera too much when taking the pictures. Don't move your arms and hold the camera still when you are taking the picture.
The subject in the pictures was moving
If you weren't moving your camera and your pictures still come out blurry, the subject in your pictures may have been moving while you were taking the pictures. Consider retaking the pictures while the subject are not moving.
The image on the screen is blank or broken up
Your screen is not displaying what you expect it to show when you turn it on.
The screen is cracked
If your camera has been dropped, its screen may have cracks. Consider replacing the screen using the Screen Replacement guide if the cracks don't allow you to fully see the screen.
The battery is faulty/malfunctioning
If the battery is fully charged and your camera's screen appears completely black when you turn it on, the battery may be faulty. Consider replacing the battery using Battery Replacement guide.
The motherboard is faulty/malfunctioning
If the battery is fully charged and there are no cracks on the screen but the image shown on the screen is still blank, the camera's motherboard may be faulty. Consider replacing the motherboard using the Motherboard Replacement guide.
