== Het scherm is losgekoppeld ==

Zeker na een stevige val kan de verbinding tussen het scherm en het logic board beschadigd of losgekoppeld zijn. Pak je gereedschapset, open je telefoon en sluit alle schermaansluitingen opnieuw aan. == Omgevingslichtsensor ==

Naast de naar voren gerichte camera bevindt zich een aantal andere sensoren aan de bovenkant van de iPad. == Kapot scherm ==

Hoewel de meeste problemen met een kapot scherm vaak goed zichtbaar zijn, kan het ook voorkomen dat je scherm zonder zichtbare schade beschadigd is en daarom niet werkt.

* Bekijk het scherm van dichtbij en kijk of je scheuren of barsten kunt zien. Bekijk het scherm in een scherpe hoek om kleine scheurtjes te kunnen zien.
* Gebruik een paperclip om de simkaarthouder uit het toestel te duwen en te verwijderen. Schijn met een licht in de opening die daardoor ontstaat om te zien welke kleur de vochtcontactindicator is. Als deze met water in aanraking is gekomen, is deze rood of roze gekleud. De sticker zit aan de onderkant van het scherm, dus deze kan ietwat lastig te vinden zijn.

== Beschadigde backlight-onderdelen ==

In iPhone's met een LCD-scherm (iPhone 8, 8 Plus en eerder, alle iPhone SE-modellen, iPhone XR en de iPhone 11) is het vermogen van het scherm om op te lichten anders dan het vermogen van het scherm om beeld te tonen. [br]
